10th August 2019 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F6/F7 Surf / Sea State: big waves Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 16.5 Weather: lightish cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Apparently perfect waves and wind turned up yesterday evening after I and most others left as wind too off, but those that commune with the wind gods let us know how perfect it was. Today wind was onshore so waves mushy, but big. Launched well to South end but still got mullered twice, once sail was separated from board which is better than mast trac being ripped out. Had one awesome ride down logo+ (mast?) wave, steeper than usualu, scary as if I fell in gear woudl be trashed, and so exhilirating. Was going to pack up on a high but encouraged to carry on and had some more rides and gybes in the rough stuff that had to come off. Packed up after only and hour with some failures but still reliving the thrilling best bits, A few others carried on, making it look so easy.
